Causative-passive

When another person does a job for us, we can use the grammatical form called the Causative passive
for example, have your eyes tested.
Or when my car doesn't work,

get my car fixed!
We use the verb have, or more informally get, the object, my eyes, my car, and the past participle of the verb.
Think about what others do for you: paint your house, fix your watch etc.
